To be perfectly honest, I started making my own scrubs because I refused to pay $20 for what should have been, essentially, some sugar and oil in a bowl. Also, what's with all the weird, un-pronounceable ingredients?! So, I brought the idea home to my kitchen. I put 'a l'il sugar' (raw, organic, turbinado) and some oil (sweet almond, apricot kernel, and olive) in a bowl. You're welcome, 'Merica.
